Lamberto Zannier joined the Italian Foreign Ministry as a career diplomat in 1978. He was head of the United Nations Interim Administration Mission in Kosovo from 2008 to 2011, and was Coordinator for the CFSP and ESDP in the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2006 to 2008. Zannier currently serves as High Commissioner on National Minorities at the OSCE, where he previously held the position of Director of Conflict Prevention.
